Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 21 October 2026

These terms apply to every order placed with NextdaySheds on this website or by phone. They explain what you can expect from us and what we need from you. Please read them before you order — especially the parts about delivery access and preparing a base, because that is where most problems can be avoided.

1. About us

NextdaySheds is a UK business selling flat-pack timber garden buildings for delivery across Great Britain. You can contact us on 0203 0120507 (Monday to Friday 8am–5pm and Saturday 9am–1pm) or info@nextdaysheds.co.uk.

NextdaySheds is a trading name of DIYSHEDS LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13650326). Registered office: 42 Great Bridge Street, West Bromwich, England, B70 0BN.

When these terms say “we”, “us” or “our” they mean NextdaySheds. “You” means the person placing the order.

2. Your legal rights come first

If you are buying as a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If anything here seems to conflict with those rights, your rights win.

For free, independent advice about your rights, contact Citizens Advice.

3. Our buildings

We describe every building as accurately as we can, including its nominal size, external size, internal heights and specification. Please bear in mind:

  • The headline size (for example 8 × 6) is the nominal size. The external size, which your base must fit, is shown on each product page and can be slightly different.
  • Timber is a natural material. Knots, grain, colour variation, small splits and some movement with the weather are normal and are not faults.
  • Photographs and renders show the design. Furniture, plants and accessories in pictures are not included.
  • We may make small changes to fixings, trims or suppliers that do not reduce the quality, size or function of your building.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. Delivery to the UK mainland is included in the price. The price you pay is the one shown when you place your order, including any upgrades you choose.

Payment is taken in full when you order, through our secure checkout. We accept major credit and debit cards and the digital wallets shown at checkout. We never see or store your full card details.

If we make an obvious mistake in a price or description, we will contact you before your order is accepted and you can choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Your order

When you place an order you will receive an email acknowledging it. The contract between us starts when we confirm that your order has been accepted, which is normally the same working day.

We may decline an order — for example if the building is no longer available, we cannot deliver to your address, or payment is not authorised. If we do, we will refund anything you have paid in full.

6. Delivery

Orders placed by 2pm on a working day (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays) are normally delivered the next working day to addresses on the UK mainland. We will confirm your delivery date by email. If you would prefer a later date, tell us when you order.

We do not deliver to the Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly or Northern Ireland. The postcodes we cannot deliver to are — Scottish Highlands and Islands: AB31–AB38, AB40–AB56, FK17–FK21, HS, IV, KA27–KA28, KW, PA20–PA49, PA60–PA78, PH4–PH44, PH49–PH50 and ZE. Northern Ireland: BT. Isle of Wight: PO30–PO41. Isles of Scilly: TR21–TR25. If an order is placed for delivery to one of these postcodes, we will cancel it and refund it in full.

Delivery is to the kerbside at the front of your property. Our driver cannot carry panels through houses or gardens. Please make sure there is safe access for a large vehicle and tell us in advance about narrow lanes, weight limits or parking restrictions.

Someone aged 18 or over should be there to receive the delivery. Please check the number of packs and look for visible damage before signing, and note any damage on the driver’s paperwork.

The building becomes yours, and your responsibility, once it has been delivered and paid for.

If we are going to be late, we will let you know as soon as we can. If a delay is significant, you can cancel and receive a full refund for anything not delivered.

7. Changing your mind

As a consumer you can cancel your order for any reason up to 14 days after the day you receive it. Our refunds and returns policy explains how cancelling works, what condition the building must be in and who pays to send it back.

You can also cancel at any time before your order is dispatched, free of charge — just call or email us.

8. If something is wrong

Every building must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If it is not, you are entitled to a repair, a replacement part or building, or a refund, depending on the problem and how soon you tell us.

Please tell us about transit damage or missing parts within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs, so we can put it right quickly. Reporting later does not remove your legal rights, but it can make it harder to show what happened.

We will normally send replacement panels or parts rather than a whole new building where that fixes the problem.

9. Our anti-rot guarantee

In addition to your legal rights, the pressure-treated timber in every building is guaranteed against rot for 15 years from delivery. See our quality guarantee for the details.

The guarantee covers the timber structure. It needs the building to be put up on a firm, level, free-draining base as described in the assembly guide, kept clear of soil and standing water, and not cut, modified or damaged after delivery. The roof felt, glazing, ironmongery and paint finishes are covered by your normal legal rights rather than the 15-year guarantee.

10. Bases, assembly and permissions

Our buildings are designed for DIY assembly and come with a step-by-step guide. You are responsible for preparing a suitable base and for putting the building up safely, following the guide.

You are responsible for checking whether you need planning permission, landlord or freeholder consent, or building regulations approval for where you plan to put your building. Our planning guide explains the usual rules.

Our buildings are supplied without electrics, plumbing, heating or insulation. Any electrical work must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

11. Our responsibility to you

If we break these terms we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that, but not for loss that could not have been foreseen.

We are not responsible for business losses — our buildings are sold for domestic and private use.

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.

12. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, road closures, courier failures or supplier problems. We will tell you as soon as we can and do what we reasonably can to keep the delay short. If the delay is long, you can cancel for a refund of anything not delivered.

13. Your information

We only use your personal information as described in our privacy policy.

14. Complaints and disputes

If you are unhappy with anything, please contact us first on 0203 0120507 (Monday to Friday 8am–5pm and Saturday 9am–1pm) or info@nextdaysheds.co.uk. Most problems are sorted out quickly once we know about them.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of the country where you live.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones on this page when you placed it.
