About apex sheds

An apex shed has the traditional central-ridge roof that pitches down both sides — the extra headroom down the middle makes it the easy choice for a general garden shed, a workshop or anywhere you want to stand up and move around. The pitch sheds rain cleanly and gives that familiar, tidy garden-building silhouette.

Common questions

What is the difference between an apex and a pent shed?

An apex roof pitches down from a central ridge. A pent roof slopes one way, which can suit a position against a wall. Compare dimensions and openings for the specific buildings you are considering.

Is the timber treated?

The timber is pressure-treated and carries a 15-year anti-rot guarantee. Check the guarantee terms for care requirements.

How quickly will it arrive?

Free next-working-day UK mainland delivery applies to eligible in-stock flat-pack buildings ordered by 2pm. Check the delivery page and the availability of your chosen configuration before ordering.
